A farm in Indian Trail is finding a way to stay engaged during the coronavirus stay-at-home order.
Peace N Peas Farm is renting out their 8-year-old miniature donkey, named Mambo. For $50, Mambo’s handlers will have him join in on your group’s virtual conference calls, according to the Associated Press. Francie Dunlap, Mambo’s owner, describes him as “like a pesky little brother.”
Apart from Mambo, the farm has a slew of other options for customers to invite to web calls. Among them are horses, chickens and ducks.
Dunlap says that some teachers have also reached out about having Mambo crash their virtual lessons. The rental gets you 10 minutes with Mambo or one of the other companions for rent.
