Novant Health opened a COVID-19 screening center in Supply, North Carolina. The facility will help ramp up the number of tests administered on the coast of North Carolina.

The number of positive cases in the Cape Fear has increased in recent days, leading to a higher demand for the test.

The drive-thru tests allow for people to come in quickly and without the risk of spreading to others in an enclosed area, like a doctor’s office.

Patients arrive at the location in Supply, have a nasal swab collect their sample, and a private lab reports results back in 3-4 days, according to the Star News.
