Thomasville native Rebekah Cornwall has always crawled and climbed, even from a young age. According to the Greensboro News & Record, Rebekah grew up watching American Ninja Warrior and became “obsessed with” the show. By age 9, a friend told the young athlete about a Ninja Gym in Thomasville.
“When I touched the first obstacle, I knew this was it, this was what I was meant to do,” Rebekah said, speaking about the obstacle training.
Earlier in the year, Rebekah placed third in her age group at the National Ninja League World Championship in Greensboro. According to the News & Record, she was the first girl to get through stage one.
Her qualifying performance on American Ninja Warrior Junior aired March 27.
